Curating the Ghosts of the Women We Used to Be (Without Getting Stuck in the Past)
There is a specific kind of internal silence that descends at a certain age. It is not the silence of abandonment; it is the quiet of a curator surveying a newly organized collection. You look in the mirror, past the reflection of the woman standing there today, and find yourself observing a crowd. They are all you, yet they are all ghosts.
This week’s Body of a Goddess message is dedicated to that profound realization: as we age, our bodies are no longer just temporary vessels for our current ambitions. They have become formidable, living repositories. Every mark, every new wear-and-tear ache, and every softening contour is a plaque in a physical museum. We are not just standing still; we are co-habitating with the collective weight of our own formidable history.
