Two Essential Cleansers That Every Witch Should Understand

Posted on December 13, 2025December 13, 2025 By Katrina Rasbold

In the Crossroads tradition, washes cleanse, bless, remove, protect, and prepare. They are the difference between hoping a space feels better and doing the work to make it so. Two of the most powerful ashes we make, sell, and teach are 4 Thieves Wash and Chinese Wash. They’re often lumped together, used interchangeably, or treated…

Fat, Over Sixty, and Somehow Still Fabulous

Posted on December 13, 2025December 13, 2025 By Katrina Rasbold

In 2011, turned fifty and discovered that middle age is basically the universe handing you a clearance tag and saying, “This one’s been through some things.” The joints creak like a haunted house door, the memories have potholes, and when you sneeze, something somewhere pops like bubble wrap. But the…

The Longest Night and the Promise of Light: Why We Need Yule More Than Ever

Posted on December 13, 2025December 13, 2025 By Katrina Rasbold

If you look out the window right now, the world probably looks a little sleepy. The trees are bare skeletons against a steel-grey sky, the ground is hard (or slushy, depending on your latitude), and the sun seems to have packed its bags and left the office by 4:00 PM….

The Day My Knees Filed a Complaint with HR

Posted on December 8, 2025December 8, 2025 By Katrina Rasbold

It happened around 5 p.m., which feels like the universal time for the body to stage a protest. I bent down to pick up something I dropped (a pen, which my knees clearly thought wasn’t worth the risk), and I heard a crack so loud it sounded like a tree…

Your Intuition Isn’t Subtle

Posted on December 8, 2025December 8, 2025 By Katrina Rasbold

You’ve Just Been Trained to Ignore It Hello Dear Ones, Let’s talk about that nudge you felt this week. You know the one —the tiny tug,the “hmm, that’s interesting,”the flicker of a message you almost dismissed because it didn’t arrive with fireworks and a marching band. Read the Full Article…

It’s Witch O’clock Somewhere

Posted on December 8, 2025December 8, 2025 By Katrina Rasbold

By Katrina Rasbold Witches have a different relationship with time than most people. We feel the tug of moons and seasons, yes — but also the strange elasticity of hours that stretch and contract depending on the work we’re doing. Time is not a straight line to us but a…

I came to witchcraft as a young seeker with a head full of questions and a heart full of devotion. Four decades later, I’m still learning, still listening, and still helping others find their own way through the mysteries. I write books, teach classes, set lights, and hold space for people who want real-world magic that fits a real-world life.

I’ve been walking an intentional magical path for more than forty years. My practice is rooted in Eclectic Wicca, Appalachian folk magic, and devotional work with the Powers that walk the crossroads. Over the years, that foundation has braided together with my love of storytelling, community building, and practical spiritual care.

I started like many of us do: with questions no one around me seemed to be asking out loud. I studied, listened, watched, and practiced. I learned from elders, from books, from spirit, and from the land itself. Magic, for me, is not about escaping life. It’s about engaging with it more fully—tending to the unseen threads that weave through our griefs, our joys, our choices, and our transformations.
