In the Craft, we talk a lot about “liminal space.” We seek the edge of the woods, the shore where the ocean meets the sand, and the stroke of midnight that belongs to neither yesterday nor tomorrow. But the most potent liminal space isn’t a location on a map or a moment on a clock. It is the Crossroads, from which our name derives.
In occult lore, the Crossroads is the place where the physical world and the spirit realm intersect. It’s where Hekate stands with her torches, where deals are struck, and where the old version of “you” dies so the empowered version can be born. It is the ultimate space of potential.
But let’s be honest: standing at a crossroads is also exhausting. It’s the moment of “I don’t know what comes next.” Whether you are navigating a career shift, a spiritual awakening, or a deep energetic clearing, that “in-between” feeling can manifest as static in your aura—a sense of being spiritually “stuck” in the mud.
