Having fully immersed ourselves in the far past, it was fun to embrace the history that happened in our own time, so now we were off to the famous Abbey Road crosswalk immortalized in the photography for the Beatles’ Abbey Road album:
It is right next to Abbey Road Studios where Apple Records put some of our most iconic music of the 70s onto vinyl.

Eric went back to a Whole Foods store (which he called “Whole Paycheck”) to get supplies for the next day’s flight. I chose to sit and people watch outside Kensington Station. A trumpeter played Christmas songs and it was lovely:
