Wrong Way! Wrong Way!
I am now on my 3rd day of being back on track and while I feel that the “back on track” part is going extremely well, the results are the opposite of what I was going for, meaning I’ve gained another pound instead of losing. I know that today is “water pill” day (I take one every 3 days for blood pressure management) and I know that in the interim days, I tend to hold a bit of fluid, especially as I get closer to my period, which is due next week. There is also the “I’m building muscle, which weighs more and temporarily can offset the weight loss appearance” story. Either way, I know I am doing all of the right things and it has to catch up eventually.
I’m not down, just determined.
